Its rear hub motor keeps everything in check for an enjoyable ride. It can even go the distance for up to 50 miles, going 20mph. The IZIP E3 Brio is a solid bike for commuters, seniors, and for those who want some oomph in their bike-a taste of speed. The ElectroBike Gama Cruise is $200 cheaper. That effort does bring it down to $1699, which we believe is fair given its performance. The few plastic bits that are there can quickly be replaced with better parts the frame isn’t against that. The IZIP E3 Brio clearly makes a few cheap cuts to keep cost low, and we admire that effort. They require little maintenance and rarely need adjustments, but do so to your liking. The Tektro 180mm mechanical disc brakes are really nice, comparable to Shimano in many cases. You get an adequate LED headlight for some nighttime riding, and rear light.
Recharge time sits near 6 hours, which is somewhat long. Do note, however: the LED display SR Suntour is connected to the battery. That makes it an excellent ebike commuting option. The 36V 11.6ah lithium-ion battery can push these IZIP electric bikes for 50 miles. The E-Joe Angunn Electric Comfort Bike has a tad more power in its motor.
It also measures rear wheel speed, pedal cadence and pedal torque to keep your ride smooth. The SR Suntour Performance motor and 7-speed Shimano Tourney steal the show.

I re-wired all of them so that they used the same pinouts so we could use any charger on any bike. I have multiple batteries for my 3 of my e-bikes and all of them use different chargers and pinouts. Need to look at the battery port and the charger port with a multimeter and figure out which of the 4 ports are being used and which are positive and negative. problem is that many of these chinese made chargers use different pins, some use 1/3 others 2/4 even others 1/4 etc. I have some experience with this (30 years in the automotive industry and the past 15 in the electric car space.)īasically the charger needs a positive and a negative and only uses 2 of the 3 or 4 pins. I can even assist in rewiring it if need, so that a regular XLR charger works on it. If you are Socal local I can look at the charger and figure out why it isn't working.
